New in Skincare...evande! + Giveaway!

I was recently introduced to a new skincare line called evande.  I was unfamiliar with this line until I was approached by the fabulous people at evande to try it and review it.  The evande slogan "Feel the Natural Elegance" coincides with their use of natural ingredients such as passion fruit, aloe, lemon, almond, shea butter and fig in their products.

The evande skincare regimen consists of a 3-step system:

Gentle Facial Cleanser & Makeup Remover:    Consisting of cell renewing AHA rich fruit extracts, skin softening aloe and passion fruit, and pore cleansing amla fruit.  It is non-drying and soap free.

Alcohol-Free Pore Minimizing Toner:    Consisting of a purifying blend of natural pore-minimizing anti-oxidant botanicals, skin clarifying lemon and bilberry, and Ph balancing elder flower.  It is non-drying and non-stingy (alcohol free).

Oil-Free Face & Neck Moisturizer:    Consisting of a hydrating and brightening silk protein and vitamins complex with shea and almond butter, collagen boosting silk amino acids, fig and ginkgo biloba.  It is non-greasy.

My review:

My overall impression of the results after using this system for two weeks is a noticeable improvement in my skin's texture and brightness.  I am always trying to achieve that J Lo. glow without makeup.  This has dramatically helped in that area.  An individual product breakdown:

Cleanser:    I was impressed with the hydrating nature of the cleanser.  I usually rely on moisturizers and other products for the hydration factor, but the cleanser provides significant hydration.  My only drawback in the cleanser is that I needed to use a separate cleanser around the eye area because the directions state to avoid the eyes.

Toner:   I have not used an individual toner product in years, but wow, it really minimize the pores which I had recently started noticing.  Yes, it is an extra step, but well worth the results.

Moisturizer:   This product is the icing on the cake.  The immediate and long lasting skin hydration and brightening effects are breathtaking.  I'm feeling the J Lo. glow :)
