Metal jewelry trends have varied over the years from yellow gold in the 90's, to white metals in the 00's (white gold, sterling silver, platinum) to a mix of colored metals right now (yellows, whites, brass, copper, black rhodium).  Along the way, rose gold  has primarily played a minor role (most often as part of the tri-color gold combination), but over the last year or so it has increasingly been making it's own statement.  Picture rose gold jewelry with your bright and pastel pinks for spring...gorgeous!

Taking pink jewelry one step further, add in a peachy pink gemstone like Morganite.  Morganite is relatively new on the fine jewelry scene.  It's not one of your more common gemstones, and some of you may have never heard of it.  It is definitely worth a look!  There are many options in pink fashion jewelry, but if you are interested in an investment in pink fine jewelry, morganite is worth considering.  It is not as pricey as pink diamonds or sapphires and has a unique peachy pink color that I find to be mesmerizing.  Because this is my weekly Cathy Covets post, these are the pieces that I am obsessing over.  Hope that you agree :)
