Trend: Metallic and Satin Shorts for Evening
As much as I adore all the fun summer dresses, sometimes I just want to throw on a pair of dressy shorts for a fun evening out. How about you? Of course, we still want to look polished and classy in the process. So what types of shorts will work for the occasion? In my previous post, on lace shorts
here, there are a couple of options, but I see the metallic and satin shorts that are trending right now to be a great choice! The subtle sheen of the metallic/satin amps up an otherwise casual pair of shorts to the dressy shorts category.

Thoughts? I will most likely be wearing this style of shorts with either a sleeveless, tunic style silky top or button down and add a blazer as necessary...similar to many of the above looks. Throw on a strappy pair of skyhigh heels and head out the door for the evening!

I am loving the shorts for evening wear looks! Sure you don't want to wear ripped denim shorts for evening, but the satin, and lace options as seen above are absolutely fabulous! I really like the ones by H&M as well as the option by Jason Wu! I'll be trying this trend out soon :)
