I saw a photo over the weekend of an actress I had never previously seen or heard about. Maybe you are familiar with her, and maybe I have been living in a cave... Her name is Virna Lisi. She is an Italian actress whose career was in its prime during the 1950s and 1960s. Her most widely known American film is probably either How to Murder Your Wife (1965) or Not with My Wife, You Don't! (1966). Hollywood was searching for a new "Marilyn Monroe" type actress, and believed that they had found it in Virna Lisi.
