A post for my interior readers today :)
Whether it's an accent wall, a ceiling, floor, doors, cabinets, or an entire room, lacquered interiors are capturing my attention these days. Not just in white, but lacquer in all colors of the spectrum is on trend. Something about the sheen adds a dimension of depth, reflection and elegance to an otherwise ordinary room. A not so difficult or pricey DIY can really transform your home. Even an application of lacquered vinyl wallcovering or wallpaper can create a similar effect. Take a look at some of the looks on my radar...

What do you think? Do you like the look? Would you consider this for your home...possibly as an accent here or there? You can always start small with a lacquered white wall. I'm currently obsessing over a red or black single accent wall. Let me know your thoughts :)
