Design Duo On the Rise: Ostwald Helgason

Design Duo On the Rise: Ostwald Helgason

I recently discovered the Ostwald Helgason line by London-based design duo Susanne Ostwald and Ingvar Helgason.  Founded in 2008, this line has been making waves in the fashion world since its AW12 collection debut at NYFW.  Now we are seeing looks from the Resort 2013 collection which continues to show the emerging talent of this team.  Take a look...

AW12
The much hyped AW12 collection showcases narrative prints, bold stripes, and a bright color palette.

Resort 2013
Continues to showcase narrative prints and bold stripes but in a different color palette.

SS12
Pieces from the current collection are available at Opening Ceremony .  This season is all about highlighting innovative materials.  Several of my picks...

    Cork T-shirt/Dress  ($430)

Net Vest  ($230)

Wooden Bead Top  ($1500)

Silk Graphic Print Sleeveless Blouse  ($325)

Let me know your thoughts on the Ostwald Helgason line! :)

  10. Oooo I like this! It reminds me of a toned done line of Etro and Malo. More clean lines, colour blocks, and less patterned designs. I love the wooden beaded top!
