Caftan Love...

Caftan Love...

Now that we are into the hottest month of summer, sometimes we just want to throw on the easiest and most comfortable clothing choices we can find, while still appearing stylish chic.  The caftan option fits this category.  It's just a question of how much is too much when it comes to the caftan look.  Being petite, I tend to shy away from the maxi caftan.  Not to be confused with a maxi dress, a maxi caftan not only falls to the ground but it encompasses the entire upper body with its bell style sleeves.  I prefer the above-the-knee style for this reason.  Cover the arms, reveal the legs :)  Then there is the question of wearing it as a stand alone dress, over a bathing suit, or as a tunic with pants.  Why not choose one that can be worn a variety of ways.

    I love caftans! Cathy, I believe I once read in an interview that Iman owns 300-400 of them because that is her favorite type of attire to wear! I love the orange one from Victoria's Secret, the style and the design is awesome!
