Fall Trend: Knee Socks with Boots

Fall Trend:  Knee Socks with Boots

This look has been gaining popularity over the last couple of years.  From mid-calf scrunched socks, to knee socks, to over-the-knee socks, this trend is at an all-time high.  Victoria Beckham sent it down the Fall/Winter 2012 runway on most of her models.  Some of my favorite fashion bloggers regularly sport this look with amazing style!  What do you think?

Rachel  from Da Paura ♥

Blair from Atlantic-Pacific
Anna from  Fash Boulevard

 Other street style looks...

Do you like it?  Have you worn it?  Will  you try a version of it?  I see myself wearing this combination layered over tights or a pair of leggings (similar to Blair's closeup photo and the last photo).  I look forward to hearing your thoughts :)

 Happy weekend!
Cathy

  5. I imagine myself wearing this trend over tights as well! I love how cosy this trend looks and it's definitely unique and stylish - lovely inspiration post. Sadly, it never gets cold in Singapore so I won't be able to wear this :( Curse you, tropical weather!

There's a new post up on my blog right now and I'd love to hear your thoughts on it so feel free to stop by! :) x

  31. I have mixed feelings about this trend... I really think that whether it works depends on who is wearing it. Personally, I think I can pull it off if I'm layering boots and socks over pants. But with a skirt, not so much :) These photos are great inspiration to try, though!
