Film Icon Romy Schneider

While looking through my February issue of Elle magazine, I came across a photo of actress Romy Schneider used as inspiration for the cover shoot with Claire Danes.  I was vaguely familiar with the name and face, but I was curious to find out more.

Romy Schneider

(23 September 1938 – 29 May 1982)
Romy was a film actress who achieved success in Germany and France with her career at its' highpoint in the late 50s, 60s and 70s.  A few favorite photos that I came across (note her stunning eyes)...


Are you familiar with this actress?  What do you think about the photos?  Just gorgeous, in my opinion, and such mesmerizing eyes.

    I had no idea who Romy was before i read this post, she was a classic beauty with incredibly elegant style. Its great to see stylists taking inspiration from old Hollywood glamour for editorials.
