I decided to indulge the thrifty shopper side of my personality today and started perusing the new J. Crew Factory online store. You can sign up for new arrival notifications, free shipping until November 1st, and receive an additional 20% off on your birthday! You can pick up some classic essential sweaters and long sleeve tees at about 30% off regular prices. My eye was drawn to the coats for some reason (and I live in Texas where it is still 85 degrees...).

First came burgundy and leopard. Then there was burgundy and mustard yellow. Now I am posting about my newest favorite fall wardrobe combo: mustard yellow and camouflage! There are many color combinations in the camo print family, but my preference is toward the deeper undertones (similar to my picks here) when it comes to the mustard yellow pairing. I find those tones provide a more neutral foundation to anchor the mustard yellow. Take a look...

Burgundy and Mustard Yellow

Another color combination that I am adding to my fall must-have list is burgundy and mustard yellow. This is a way to carry summer's colorblock trend into the fall season. One benefit of this color combo is that wearing burgundy on the bottom can act as somewhat of a neutral in grounding your look. Additionally, if you wear a deeper tone of mustard, it can function as a neutral in the camel brown/tan family. Add either black or tan accessories for the perfect fall look. Welcome, colorblock skeptics!
